The Swedish Society of Asthma and Allergy Nursing (ASTA), is a subsection of The Swedish Society of Nursing (SSF). ASTA was founded in 1985 and has currently about 600 members.
The main objective of ASTA is to increase the knowledge of allergy and asthma in the Swedish nursing society, to promote research in the field and to stimulate improvement in care giving of allergic and asthmatic patients.
